So it has been one week since we re-ignited the energy and exercise levels and whilst my impatient head wants to be out running, I know my sensible patient head is working through those gears!
Using my Apple Watch, I set myself both a daily move target of 30 minutes and a calorie burn target of 170 calories. I’m not too sure how the watch calculates all of these but assume its based on heart rate, my weight and size.
Thankfully we were delivered the best of the British summer weather for most of the week which enabled us to get out and about to start work on those targets. We did power walks in the sling (more on that later), an afternoon trip over to Hayling Island and beach front walks – living by the sea makes getting out that whole lot easier!
